Saturday 15th December saw many members and past members gather at the club for some Christmas cheer, and a special celebration of the club’s 80th Birthday.
Jerry Trevor-Jones took the opportunity to announce the upcoming publication of his new book, ‘History of the Bathurst Aero Club 1938-2018′ which will be available for purchase early 2019, with proceeds going towards another flying scholarship. Contact the club to find out more about purchasing a copy.
During the night , Jerry also gave a brief and entertaining history of the club, and the club scrapbooks which have been curated by Jerry over many decades were available for members to browse through.
